AVON, CT, April 18, 2020 – Bar Rated Entertainment, a company currently located in Riverdale Farms Shopping Plaza in Avon, CT, has been “training brains” aka hosting live hosted trivia games since 2010 across Connecticut and Massachusetts. If you live in the Farmington Valley you may have played at Wood n Tap in Farmington, Cure in Unionville, Taprock in Unionville, or Iron Horse Pub & Pizzeria in Simsbury, CT. Overall, leading up to the time when restaurants had to close, BRE was hosting 70 games a week in locations throughout the two states.
With the current climate and social distancing and safety concerns, BRE has adjusted to hosting virtual trivia games for the past month. This has been a great success with people looking forward to a game every night Monday – Saturday. BRE also offers private virtual trivia games for corporations, schools, and families/ friends. It’s easy to join in on the virtual trivia fun. All that is needed is 2 devices: a computer to watch the live video feed or Zoom meeting and a smartphone to log into the game (which is a multiple choice fast paced game you play on the phone). BaR Rated Entertainment, also known as BaR Rated Trivia, was started in 2010 by former on air talent of The Rock 106.9 WCCC, Robert Goldberg.
