Otis CEO Recognized For Leadership In 'Challenging Times'
A Connecticut business leader is receiving major recognition.

FARMINGTON, CT — The Committee for Economic Development of The Conference Board Tuesday announced the six business leaders and their companies — including the top executive at Farmington-based Otis — that will be receiving the CED Distinguished Leadership Awards.
An annual tradition recognizing corporate citizenship and business stewardship, this year's awards pay special tribute to business leaders and their companies that have "demonstrated exceptional leadership in very challenging times, including defeating the pandemic, ensuring an economic recovery that provides equal opportunity for all Americans, and building a more civil and just society."
The CED will present the awards to the honorees on Oct. 25 at the Pierre Hotel in New York City.
