Police: Woman Used Fraudulent Travelers Cheques at Westfarms Mall

A New York woman paid with fraudulent travelers cheques at Apple, Abercrombie Kids, Bath & Body Works, the Disney Store, Pink and Sephora in the Westfarms Mall, police said. 

Shamecca Nate Fenner, 28, of 90 Ellison Ave., Roosevelt, NY, was arrested and charged with fourth-degree larceny, first-degree forgery, first-degree conspiracy to commit forgery, criminal impersonation, interfering with an officer and conspiracy to commit fourth-degree larceny. 

Police released her after she posted a $10,000 surety bond.
