Popular Farmington Restaurant's Move Delayed Until September
The move had been originally planned for late spring, but now looks as if it will be ready at the beginning of autumn.

FARMINGTON, CT — The planned opening of the new Wood-n-Tap Bar & Grill location across from Farmington High School has been delayed, according to a restaurant spokesperson.
Work has been ongoing for months at the former longtime location of Apricot's Restaurant at 1593 Farmington Avenue, on the banks of the Farmington River. The current Wood-n-Tap in Farmington, just over a mile away at 1274 Farmington Avenue, opened in 2004.
In March, it was announced the new location should be ready by late spring. However, renovation work is continuing, prompting a delay in opening.

Since opening its original restaurant in Hartford in 2002, Wood-n-Tap has expanded into eight other towns in Hartford and New Haven counties: Farmington, Southington, Rocky Hill, Vernon, Orange, Wallingford, Hamden and Newington. A 10th location is planned for a plaza in Enfield sometime in early 2020.
