As Practices Open, a Look At Farmington's Winter Team Titles
Indian teams have won seven state championships in winters past.

FARMINGTON, CT — The calendar has flipped to December, which means the winter sports campaign is officially upon us as practice is scheduled to open Monday for high school wrestling, girls basketball and ice hockey teams throughout Connecticut. Indoor track, boys basketball, boys swimming and gymnastics all begin practice Thursday.
With players slated to take the court, ice and mat later this afternoon, dreams of a state championship berth in March are already formulating in the minds of athletes and coaches alike.
Here is the state title history in winter sports for Farmington High School teams; an asterisk (*) denotes a co-op team.
