Retired Farmington Police Officer Mourned
A popular retired 22-year veteran of the Farmington Police Department is being mourned.

FARMINGTON, CT — A popular retired 22-year veteran of the Farmington Police Department has died, according to a police social media post.
Peter Gigliotti, who was in his 60s, died peacefully on Nov. 22, according to the post.
Gigliotti served the Farmington Police Department from 1985 to 2007.

In 1994, Gigliotti became the youth officer and worked in the schools and community.
Colleagues said he had a "positive impact on the relationship between juveniles and FPD."

In 1995, he was rthe drummer in an alternative rock band formed in the department called "Code 3 to Nowhere." His daughter, Audrey, was a singer in the group.
An FPD Honor Guard was present at Gigliotti's services on November 27.
