September 8: Local Roads to be Impacted by Women’s Triathlon

The Hartford Marathon Foundation will produce the Women's Triathlon on Saturday, September 8

The Hartford Marathon Foundation will produce the Women’s Triathlon on Saturday, September 8, in the communities of Farmington and Avon. With approximately 400 athletes expected to participate in the swim, bike and run events, please be aware of traffic impact and limited road closures affecting the area from 7:30 am until 9:30 am.

The following will remain open for use by vehicles and race participants from 7:30 am until 9:30 am. Please expect minor delays and use caution:

  • Farmington Avenue
  • Brickyard Road
  • Harris Road
  • West Avon Road
  • Country Club Road
  • Burnham Road
  • Scoville Road
  • Old Farms Road
  • Tillotson Road
  • Town Farm Road

The Hartford Marathon Foundation makes every effort to minimize the impact of the race on local roads and neighborhoods while bringing participants in to enjoy the community. Please seek alternate routes during the race if impacted. A detailed course map is also available HERE.
