FARMINGTON, CT — State Sen. Derek Slap (D-West Hartford) announced Friday that the State Bond Commission is expected to approve funding next week to build 22 new units of "supportive housing" at New Horizons Village in Farmington.

New Horizons is located at 37 Bliss Memorial Road.

"Connecticut is home to a wide variety of people with a wide variety of housing needs. New Horizons Village fills one of those needs with compassion and style in Farmington, and now they'll be able to serve even more people," Slap said. "I'm glad the State Bond Commission saw the value in this project, connecting people with the housing they need in a beautiful and supportive setting."
