Connecticut Weather: More Rain, Thunderstorms In The Forecast

Memorial Day will be rainy and cold and then we're looking at some unsettled weather on Tuesday and Wednesday. Here's the latest updates.

Last night in Connecticut felt more like late October as opposed to Memorial Day weekend and that trend will continue today and for the rest of the upcoming work week. There are no 80 degrees in the forecast for the next 7 days and there are several rain chances too, including some thunderstorms possible on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Unfortunately, rain has cancelled many planned Memorial Day parades in Connecticut today and it looks like it will continue to be rainy until mid afternoon but the temps won’t even hit 60 degrees today. It’s not exactly the best day for an outdoor barbecue.

And as we return to work and school on Tuesday we’ll be be dealing with more rain and thunderstorms and temps only in the mid 60s. There is some good news about the forecast, once we get to Wednesday the sun reappears and it remains mainly dry through next weekend except for more rain expected Friday night.
