Tunxis to Hold Jan. 16 Virtual Saturday Registration Event

Spring semester classes begin Jan. 22, with a mix of on-campus, online and hybrid course options.

Tunxis Community College will hold a virtual Super Saturday Registration event on Jan. 16 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., online and by phone for new and continuing students who want help with advising, course registration, and financial aid for spring semester.

Prior to making an appointment for the event, prospective students who have not yet applied for admission should complete an application and placement form online. Required documents and unofficial college transcripts should also be uploaded using the college’s application portal. Students who haven’t already applied for financial aid are encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid immediately. The FAFSA can be submitted online at www.fafsa.gov, and TCC’s school code is 009764. For more information and to make an online appointment, visit tunxis.edu/supersat.

Virtual advising sessions will also be available during final registration at Tunxis Jan. 19-21, with evening and Saturday hours. Spring semester classes begin Jan. 22, with a mix of on-campus, online and hybrid course options.

Among the college’s 70 associate degrees and certificates are advanced manufacturing, business, paralegal studies, data science, psychology, and an energy management program that offers multiple full scholarships each semester. More than 20 degrees offer seamless transfer to bachelor’s degree programs at the CT state universities and Charter Oak State College.
