Tunxis Ranks Among Top Military-Friendly Colleges in the U.S.

Student-focused publication releases the best programs for 2021 on Intelligent.com.

Tunxis Community College has been recognized among the top military Colleges for 2021, receiving the “Best Community College” award by Intelligent.com. The only college in Connecticut to receive the honor, Tunxis is listed among 49 public institutions across the nation.

The student-focused research guide is based on an assessment of programs at accredited colleges and universities which were evaluated based on curriculum quality, graduation rate, reputation, and post-graduate employment.

Intelligent.com analyzed programs on a scale of 0 to 100, with Tunxis ranking at number 17. The 2021 rankings are calculated through a scoring system which includes student engagement, potential return on investment, and leading third party evaluations. The methodology uses an algorithm which collects and analyzes multiple rankings into one score to compare each college and university’s degree program. See the complete ranking here.
