The essay contest asked writers to describe the characteristics of an ideal presidential candidate.

FARMINGTON, CT - Three Tunxis Community College students were recently chosen as winners of a Tunxis essay contest that asked writers to describe the characteristics of an ideal presidential candidate.
“I thought it would be a good way to honor the campaign season and to bring a taste of the democratic process to Tunxis students,” said Tunxis professor of history Rafaele Fierro, Ph.D, who organized the contest. “The winning essays were thoughtful and very creative.”
