Take a look ahead at what's going on in Farmington this week.

Happy Monday, Farmington!Â
Wow, August is flying by. If there's one thing I've learned in all my years as a journalist, it's that the news is constant and changing daily. Even in the summer.
It makes sense because life is always changing and local news is a reflection of the pulse of a community. Every day is different. Sometimes things go how you planned them and other times your life takes an unexpected direction, whether good or bad.Â
But no matter what happens, it's important to stay present and look ahead rather than dwelling on the past.Â
Look ahead to the next school year rather than dwelling on a bad grade. Think about how you will tackle the next game rather than focusing on a recent loss. Learn from a business venture that fell through and think about the next company you're going to start.
New Year's Day tends to be the day we focus on how to move our lives ahead. But why not today or tomorrow? Do you have a goal or dream that keeps you forward thinking? What is it and how are you pursuing it? Think of it is an end of summer resolution! Tell us in the comments.Â
As you're looking ahead in your lives, we're looking ahead at this week. Here's a snapshot of what's going on in Farmington this week:Â
