Wells Fargo Donates $40k to Red Cross in Farmington
The donation will help the organization respond to local disasters.

Wells Fargo has donated $40,000 to the American Red Cross to help support disaster relief services in Connecticut.
Wells Fargo is a Ready 365 Partner with the American Red Cross. The partnership helps the organization respond to local disasters, mainly residential fires. Last year the Red Cross responded to 800 local disasters in Connecticut.
“The Red Cross is a vital player in building resilient communities that are better prepared for emergencies,” said Kent McClun, Wells Fargo Area President. “Our customers and the communities we serve are impacted every day by the preparedness and disaster response work of the American Red Cross.”

McCLun is also a board member for the American Red Cross Connecticut Chapter.
“When disaster strikes, the Red Cross is there to provide the immediate assistance with housing, food and other emergency needs,” said Mario Bruno, American Red Cross Connecticut and Rhode Island region executive. “That work is powered by volunteers and made possible by generous donations from partners like Wells Fargo.”
