Westfarms Offering Free Mobile Mall-O-Ween Halloween Event

FARMINGTON, CT — This Halloween Westfarms mall is offering a free "safe alternative to trick-or-treating" on Halloween.

The event is slated for Oct. 31 from 9 a.m. to noon at Westfarms Parking Lot A near JCPenney.

Children can come dressed in costumes and vehicles can be decorated. Car line admission to the event will close promptly at noon.

Members of the community will receive a "Mobile Mall-O-Ween bag" for candy collection along the route from the safety of their vehicles. Participants will also be eligible for surprise giveaways.

Participants are being asked to wear (safety) masks when in the drive-through space to collect candy. Staff and sponsors will be adhering to social distancing and wearing masks and gloves while distributing treats, officials said.
