FARMINGTON, CT — A 33-year-old Hartford woman is facing a criminal charge that accuses her of leaving a child alone in a car while shopping at local strip plaza.

The incident took place at just after 5:30 p.m. on April 17 at 1600 Southeast Road, according to an arrest report.

The woman is accused of shopping and leaving a child in a vehicle, according to an arrest report.

She was charged with leaving a child younger than 12 alone in a public place and is due in court on May 19, police said.
