Wood-n-Tap Plans to Move Farmington Location
The company which manages nine Wood-n-Tap restaurants plans to purchase the former Apricots restaurant on Route 4.

FARMINGTON, CT — A company which manages nine Wood-n-Tap restaurants in Connecticut has said it plans to purchase the former Apricots restaurant on Route 4 and move its Farmington location to that site.
Hartford Restaurant Group announced its intention to buy the restaurant, located across from Farmington High School on the banks of the Farmington River since 1983, and relocate its existing establishment at 1274 Farmington Avenue. That transition is hoped to be completed by fall, a spokesman said.
Apricots closed abruptly in Oct. 2017. Initially, the owners placed a sign in the window that read, "Closed till further notice," and told media the closure was for "renovations and re-branding." The front door was locked with a chain at that time.
