Granby Brush Fire Under Control, Cause Under Investigation

The fire was about three acres in size and damaged one small outbuilding.

GRANBY, CT — Mountain Road has been reopened after a three-acre brush fire in Granby Wednesday afternoon.

The fire was reported shortly before 1 p.m. and destroyed one small outbuilding, said Capt. William Tyler, police spokesman.

No area residences were damaged and no injuries were reported. The cause remains under investigation.
