COVID-19 Vaccination Information

Residents over the age of 75 can now schedule appointments. Additional population groups will be included in the upcoming weeks

On January 14, 2021, Governor Lamont announced that phase 1B of the vaccine rollout will begin on Monday, January 18, 2021.

Residents over 75 year of age can now schedule appointments to receive the vaccine. All eligible residents are required to make an appointment in advance of receiving the vaccine.

Effective January 14, 2021 individuals can make appointments utilizing the following:

Health Care Provider – Not all providers are administering the vaccine. A list of participating providers is available at ct.gov/covidvaccine. Many residents have already or will be contacted to schedule an appointment by their provider. Residents are urged not to contact their physician or healthcare provider directly for COVID vaccine appointments.

Online – access a form at ct.gov/covidvaccine that will allow you to schedule an appointment through the web-based Vaccine Administration Management System (VAMS)

Telephone – Those without internet access can call the Connecticut COVID Vaccine Appointment Assistance Line at 877-918-2224. This line was created for those who have limited technology access or who have language, disability or other barriers that prevent them from self-scheduling. The line is open Monday thru Friday from 8 am to 4:40 pm.

In the upcoming weeks phase 1B will be expanded to additional population groups: residents between the ages of 65 and 74; residents between the ages of 16 and 64 who have underlying health conditions that put them at greater risk of the virus.
