Defending Champion Granby Sits Atop Initial Girls Soccer Poll
The Bears opened defense of their 2017 Class M championship with three straight shutout victories, averaging more than five goals a game.

GRANBY, CT — Coming off a Class M girls soccer state championship last season, the Granby Bears are out to retain that position by posting shutout victories in their first three games this season.
Granby received four of six first-place votes from coaches as the top team in Classes M/S. Notre Dame-Fairfield and Northwest Catholic each received a first-place vote.
Defending Class LL champion Ridgefield High School was the leading votegetter among Classes LL and L teams.
