Foxfield F.A.R.M. Foundation, www.foxfieldrecoverymission.org, has once again participated in the 28th Veterans Hospital Rocky Hill annual event that includes more than 30 government agencies and hundreds of social service organizations take part in the event, which is open to the more than 200,000 veterans in this state. Organized by the state VA, the event offers information and services related to education and workforce needs, state and VA benefits, legal or motor vehicle issues, as well as housing referrals, and medical, dental and mental health screenings and programs that assist in improving the quality of life for our brave service personnel. Foxfield F.A.R.M. charity had a very enthusiastic response by a number of individuals to our groundwork equine therapy program that addresses PTSD and related mental health issues particularly those who find no improvement with clinical/opioid solutions.
