Granby Memorial Collects Votes in Softball Poll

GRANBY, CT — After winning 14 of their 16 games this season, the Granby Memorial High School softball team just missed out on a top 10 appearance in the most recent poll of coaches and media members.

The Bears will play three games in four days this week, against Suffield, Stonington and Rockville.

Masuk (18-0) collected 11 of 13 first-place votes to take over the top spot in the rankings. Seymour (16-1), which had been No. 1 all season, got the other two top votes to place second.

Here are the top 10, plus all other schools receiving votes, with records through May 13:
