Granby Memorial Remains Among Top High School Field Hockey Teams
The Bears did not lose an in-state game in the regular season.

GRANBY, CT — As regular season play concludes and the pairings for the CIAC state field hockey tournaments are set to be made, the Staples High School team will enter postseason play by remaining the unanimous top choice of voters in the weekly coaches poll.
The Wreckers (16-0) were named first on all seven ballots to lead the voting for the sixth straight week. The top seven teams remained intact from last week, with Cheshire (16-0) second and Granby Memorial (15-1) placing third.
Here are the top 10, with first-place votes and last week's ranking in parentheses, along with all other teams receiving votes.
