In her spare time, she enjoyed watching and feeding birds, was very active at the Granby Senior Center, spent hours completing crossword puzzles and word games, and watching UConn Women's Basketball games. Marion enjoyed going out to eat and sharing meals with her family and friends. She loved to talk, was very social, and her outgoing nature endeared her to everyone she met.
Marion and her husband Olof both were raised in large families and were proud of how hard they worked, and all that they accomplished throughout their lives. They both contributed generously of their time and treasure to numerous charities over the years, especially in the Town of Granby.
