Granby Officials Seek Public's Help in Finding Horse's Owner

Animal was found on Meadowbrook Road on Wednesday.

Granby officials are seeking the owner of a horse that was found Meadowbrook Road on Wednesday afternoon. Despite the efforts of animal control officer Jennifer Abalan, the horse's owner has not been found.

The horse — a mare that's approximately 9 years old — was found wearing the purple blanket shown in the photo with no halter, Abalan said on Friday.

The horse is being housed in a local barn but will be moved Monday to a different location, Abalan said.
