According to a Waterbury-Republican American report, 90-year-old Elizabeth Buckland, of 53 South Main St., East Granby was injured Sunday night when she fell asleep at the wheel in Harwinton.
Buckland reportedly told police she fell asleep on Route 118 near Route 222 at about 10:30 p.m., then hit a tree.
She was reported in stable condition Monday at Waterbury Hospital.
The Rep-Am reported that Buckland is from Granby; she is from East Granby. The story has been corrected to reflect that.
