David W. Glidden, President & CEO of Liberty Bank of Middletown, Connecticut, today announced that Lizette Nigro of East Granby, CT has joined Liberty as Vice President of Digital Engagement.

As Vice President of Digital Engagement, Nigro partners with the Bank’s internal business lines, operations, sales and customer support to provide leadership and drive continuous improvements in digital engagement.

Nigro, a reputable fintech executive, comes to Liberty Bank from Fiserv/Open Solutions Division in Glastonbury and brings with her two decades of expertise in successfully guiding banks and credit unions in improving their customers’ banking experience.

This includes leveraging the latest technology and delivering solutions that have helped financial institutions attract new customers, increase retention, grow wallet share and improve overall efficiencies.

Her hiring comes on the heels of David Mitchell joining the Bank in August 2020 as Liberty’s Digital Bank GM and Chief Digital Officer.
