Moose, an Extra-Large Lab, Needs a Home in Granby

105-pound dog is 'extra large.'

Moose was rescued from an overcrowded shelter in North Carolina, where he had overstayed his welcome and was marked for death. When they discovered Moose had a microchip, the shelter several times contacted his owners but no one ever came for him, according to his profile on Petfinder.

Luckily for Moose, Paws4Rescue stepped in to take him and now he's waiting in North Granby to find his new family.

Moose, 5 years old, gets his name from his size - he's full grown at about 105 pounds.

"He is a sturdy boy, laid back and has the best disposition. ...He is neutered and up to date on all of his vaccines and on flea and tick prevention. So all that is left is to find the MOOSE MAN a new home that will take care of him and love him forever..."
