The snowdate will be January 17, 2014 also at 7 pm. Check WFSB channel 3 and NBC's Channel 4 and on the church website: www.southchurchgranby.org. We hope to see a lot of families who will enjoy the comedy and drama of this famous action-filled film.
“The Kid” is a silent film written by, produced by, and directed by, and starring, Charlie Chaplin in 1921. It features Jackie Coogan as his adopted son and sidekick.
Jason Roberts, well-known as a church and concert organist, has a hidden talent. He is one of the few today who have mastered using all the theatrical sounds of a pipe organ to make the cinematic drama come to life. This is a practically lost art in our day, since all our movies come with their own soundtracks.
