September & October 2019 East Granby Police Blotter

Year to date - 11,281 calls for service

First Selectman Jim Hayden has released the following information regarding police activity for September & October of 2019. Please note that “Total Calls for Service” includes among other things: tickets, accidents, patrol checks, community contacts, administrative assignments, well-being checks and business checks.

Please Note: Protect your vehicles and property! All towns in the area, including East Granby, have seen a rise in attempted car burglaries and attempted thefts: the common theme is that most vehicles have been left unlocked. The easiest way to protect your property is to lock the doors. When you exit your vehicle remove valuables and take the keys with you. If you see anything suspicious, please call the police department right away.
