State Tournaments Nearing: Who's In and Who's Still Hoping

With spring regular season sports action winding down for area high school teams, a number of squads from Patch towns in Hartford and Tolland counties have already qualified for state tournament competition in baseball, softball, lacrosse, tennis and volleyball. A few others are still eligible, but have not yet quite crossed the threshold. Here is a look at those teams from the region who are already in, and those still holding onto hopes of qualifying, with records through May 17.
