Tax Credit Available for East Granby Elderly and Totally Disabled

From the Town of East Granby:

The State of Connecticut and the Town of East Granby have programs for tax credit to provide relief to the elderly or totally disabled homeowner on their real estate taxes.

Requirements are as follows:

1) Applicants must be 65 years of age or older before Dec. 31, 2012

2) Totally disabled are eligible regardless of age provided all other criteria are met.

3) Applicants must own and be a permanent resident of a dwelling in East Granby.

4) Applicants must have a total income from all sources of less than $39,500 if single and $46,900 if married.

The filing period is Feb. 1,- May 15, 2013.
