The priciest bottle in the Liquor Cabinet is one for the cognac-lovers.

Grand Marnier Cent Cinquantenaire sells for $225.99, according to Sergio Castro, who co-owns the business with his father, George.

The most expensive wine is Opus 1, priced at $175.99.

Some of the most popular items in the store are local, such as Connecticut wines from Hopkins, Sharpe Hill and Stonington Vineyards and Connecticut craft beers from City Steam Brewery in Hartford, Olde Burnside Brewing Co. in East Hartford, Back East Brewing Company and Thomas Hooker Brewing Company in Bloomfield, Southport Brewing Company, Hartford Better Beer Co., Two Roads Brewing Co. in Stratford and Cottrell Brewing Co. in Pawcatuck.

Liquor Cabinet has been in East Granby for 20 years and moved next door into the former Peak Fitness space in 2011. Store hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. The store often offers wine, liquor and beer tastings on Fridays from 4 to 7 p.m.
