The National Weather Service provides the latest details on this weekend's extreme cold and next week's early snow chance.

On Tuesday, we’re looking at 50 degrees and rain.

Early Week Snowstorm?
In the almost hard to fathom category, it appears it will be too warm for most of Connecticut late Monday and into early Tuesday to produce a major snowstorm.
In northern Connecticut, snow is not expected until around 3 a.m. Tuesday, mixing with sleet by 9 a.m. and then changing over to rain later there.
We’ll keep updating this forecast.
