2 Cars Stolen In Greenwich: Police

The cars were stolen earlier this week, police said

GREENWICH, CT — Two cars were stolen this week in Greenwich, and the cases are currently under investigation.

According to Capt. Mark Zuccerella, on the morning of June 30 an officer noticed belongings strewn on the roadway on 93 Shore Rd. in Old Greenwich. After investigating, the resident there noticed her vehicle, a 2020 black Jeep, was missing. Zuccerella said "it was more than likely unlocked with the key inside." The car was stolen some between the hours of 11 p.m. on. June 29 to 6 a.m. on June 30.

Another car was stolen from a driveway at 8 Ridge Rd. in Cos Cob. A 2020 white Mercedes GLE 350 was stolen between 11:30 p.m. on June 29 and 10 a.m. on June 30. Zuccerella said the resident believed she locked the car, but a second set of keys may have been inside.
