Green & Tonic To Open 2 New Greenwich Locations
Green & Tonic was established in 2012 in Darien, and the brand has expanded over the years.

GREENWICH, CT — Green & Tonic, the plant-based eatery with roots in Connecticut, is planning to open two new locations in Greenwich.
The first location will be within the Greenwich Plaza shopping center and the old post office building at 11 Glen Ridge Road. A "coming soon" sign has been affixed to the front window.
"We are thrilled to announce that Green & Tonic is coming to Glenville," a spokesperson from the company told Patch via email. "We hope to bring new excitement and freshness to the shopping center! Our offerings will include plant-based breakfast sandwiches, smoothies, cold-pressed juices, acai bowls, meals-to-go, coffees and baked goods."

A new item, SWIRL, which is an oat milk soft serve ice cream, will be available as well.
The shopping plaza has been a topic of conversation ever since the Stop & Shop closed there in June. The owner of the plaza, Sutton Land LLC, is looking to attract another supermarket chain for the space.

In addition to the Glenville spot, an outpost is also in the works for Old Greenwich, according to the company, at 239 Sound Beach Ave., in the space formerly occupied by Old Greenwich Sportswear, which closed in 2021.
Green & Tonic did not provide specific opening dates for the new locations but said they'll be open before the end of the year.
There is already a Green & Tonic in Cos Cob at 7 Strickland Road. Previously, there was a storefront on Railroad Avenue downtown.
Green & Tonic was established in 2012 in Darien, and the brand has expanded over the years.
Customers can build their own acai bowls, smoothie bowls and superfood smoothies, or enjoy a variety of hot and cold coffee beverages and juices.
There are plenty of healthy breakfast options, like avocado toast and a quinoa bowl, healthy wraps, hot items like a veggie burger or grilled cheese, salads, soups, snacks, and grab-and-go meals.
Green & Tonic also offers meal plans, cleanses and catering services.
Along with Greenwich and Darien, there are locations in Westport, New Canaan, Fairfield, Stamford, Rye Brook and Chappaqua, N.Y.
