GPD Lt. John Slusarz urged parents to be careful and responsible during this time of year when there are many parties graduation parties.

"I strongly recommend that parents are careful as to what they serve, and make sure they're aware of who is drinking any alcohol and their level of intoxication should it get to that amount," Slusarz said. "In addition to some criminal penalties for providing alcohol to a minor, there may also be some civil issues if that minor or partygoer leaves the party and is involved in a crash as a result of the intoxication."
