Driver Killed After Vehicle Crashes Into Greenwich Store: Police
Police said a fire broke out at the shopping center as a result of the collision. BREAKING

GREENWICH, CT — A driver was killed after their vehicle crashed into a store at the Thruway Shopping Center in town Thursday afternoon, resulting in a fire, according to police.
Capt. Mark Zuccerella said the vehicle crashed into the store around 4 p.m. (To sign up for Greenwich breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
A preliminary investigation revealed the driver, who has not been identified by police, has died, Zuccerella said. No other injuries were reported.

A fire broke out at the shopping center as a result of the collision, which was contained by the Greenwich Fire Department, Zuccerella said. The shopping center is closed at this time.
