GREENWICH, CT— Greenwich Hospital has released its June Community Health program calendar. Participants must register for all events at least 24 hours prior in order to receive the Zoom link.

Support: The Parkinson’s Support Group will meet via Zoom from 1:30 - 2:30 pm. To

Wednesday, June 2
Education: Greenwich Hospital will host a free webinar “Understanding Total Joint
Replacement Surgery” from 5:30 - 7 pm with a panel of experts who will discuss the latest
surgical options for knee, hip and joint replacements, pain management techniques,
rehabilitation and recovery. The panel includes orthopedic surgeons, a pain management
specialist, total joint nurse navigator and physical therapist. The hospital’s joint replacement
program is certified by the national Joint Commission as one of the best programs in the

Education: “Update on COVID-19 Vaccines” will be presented by Greenwich Hospital’s
Gavin McLeod, MD, infectious disease specialist, Ralph Cipriani, MD, internist/infectious

Greenwich Hospital’s Erica Christ, RD and Linda Germaine-Miller, RD from 5 - 6 pm via
Zoom. Learning how to live with irritable bowel syndrome can be more successful when nutrition
management is part of the plan. Hear from experts about effective ways to help relieve
