Cos Cob Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash

The man was driving his motorcycle east on Route 35 when he veered off the road and hit a sign, police said.

COS COB, CT — Police have identified a 60-year-old Cos Cob man as the victim in a weekend motorcycle crash.

John Lienhardt died from his injuries at Danbury Hospital after he struck a road sign traveling east on South Salem Road in Ridgefield, police said.

Ridgefield police responded to the crash at 11:04 a.m., according to the police report.
