In the Riverside incident just before 7 a.m. on June 24, a coyote made its way into a fenced backyard in a cul-de-sac and attacked a rabbit before apparently being spooked by the homeowner. The rabbit was able to hop away.
The second incident occurred in the evening on June 25 at a home on Glen Ridge Road in Glenville.

Such sightings, especially during the early morning or evening hours, are not uncommon in Greenwich, according to officials. Avoid leaving food out, because hunger can be a powerful incentive for the creatures to come around.
