CT Weather: Big Change Predicted For 'Snowy' Friday Forecast

Here are the new details from the National Weather Service concerning the snow chance late Thursday and Friday.

CONNECTICUT — Sorry students and teachers it appears that the Friday storm will be wet and not snowy for most of the state. On Monday, it appeared that Connecticut may see its first snowflakes of the season and there was even the possibility of accumulating snow, especially away from the immediate coast.

But 36 hours later and now it looks like that the track will move more inland which will boost temperatures causing the precipitation to be largely rain as opposed to snowy. Inland and northern areas of the state may see some snowflakes mix in with the rain early Friday but no accumulation is expected.

Far northern areas of Litchfield County may see a minor accumulation of snow and slush, and for the I-95 corridor it's all rain.
