CT Weather: Timeline Of More Rain, Thunderstorms Wednesday
Also, the National Weather Service released its first look at the upcoming Mother's Day weekend which features some good and bad news.
CONNECTICUT — WTNH News 8 chief meteorologist Gil Simmons sums up Wednesday's weather forecast best by saying, "One more not so nice day today!"
On social media, Simmons wrote that we should be prepared for more rain, which should start around midday, and continue through the afternoon. The unsettled weather clears out Wednesday evening.
The National Weather Service said the remainder of the morning should be dry, and then the rain arrives.

"This should bring with it a more organized area of showers with a few embedded thunderstorms ahead of a cold front for the midday/early afternoon," the weather service said, while adding that the possible thunderstorms shouldn't produce severe weather.
