Department Of Parks & Recreation Announces Sandblast

Sandblast is intended for a fun day at the beach, focusing on the creative aspect of sand sculpting.

The popular SANDBLAST Sand Sculpture Festival has turned into a summer-long contest! This summer season, Parks and Recreation in coordination with the Greenwich Arts Council encourages Greenwich residents to build in the sand and enter their sculpture to our Town-wide contest for a chance to win a prize from sponsor, Logos.

Sandblast is intended for a fun day at the beach, focusing on the creative aspect of sand sculpting. Photo submissions must be sent via e-mail to: Ptroiano@greenwichct.org and include: Title and picture of sculpture, full name(s) of sculptor(s), and home address. The deadline to submit photos is Friday, August 28. The contest is open to Greenwich residents only. The Town reserves the right to use photos in Town media.
