Dutch Accessory And Handbag Designer Relocates To Greenwich
Antonia Raimbault has relocated her showroom and beach-chic brand, Le Frou Frou Couture, to Greenwich from Miami.

GREENWICH, CT — The public debut for designer Antonia Raimbault's showroom will take place in Greenwich at 23 Benedict Pl. above The Color Cafe on Saturday, May 8, and Sunday, May, 9 from noon until 5:00 p.m. The Dutch accessory and handbag designer relocated her showroom and beach-chic brand, Le Frou Frou Couture, to Greenwich from Miami, Fla. last month. A percentage of proceeds from the debut will be donated to the Breast Cancer Alliance.
After traveling and managing a prestigious boutique in Paris, Monaco, St. Tropez, St. Barts, and Knokke-Le Zoute, Raimbault launched her first luxury European-inspired collection of more than a dozen handbags last summer and she launched her second collection last month with double the number of styles.
"It was in Miami that I launched my first fashion fringe designs inspired greatly by the French Frou Frou chic style," said Raimbault in a news release. "The idea came to me naturally when I realized that trendy, timeless, and colorful beach fringe bags and handbags were not easily accessible."

Le Frou Frou Couture represents "luxury with ease" Raimbault describes, with prices that range from $129- $359 for Fringe and Fashion Handbags, $89 - $139 for Baskets, and $49 - $89 for Pochettes. Along with easy-going hats, caps, and scarfs designed by Raimbault, the showroom will also carry a small-scale fashion collection that is a mix of elegant yet bohemian apparel with vibrant colors, imported silk caftans, and semi-precious jewelry. Raimbault's seaside glamour handbags and accessories will be available for retail and wholesale by appointment following her grand opening weekend.
"As I was getting to know Greenwich I started to fall in love with the Downtown area, Greenwich Avenue restaurants like Meli-Melo, and the generous people. I quickly learned about what matters most here, giving back to the community. I'm excited to see where it goes," added Raimbault.
