Greenwich Botanical Center Hosts Annual Dahlias Show

From Greenwich Botanical Center: Greenwich Botanical Center (formerly known as the Garden Education Center of Greenwich) will host the 11th Annual Dazzling Dahlias Show on Saturday, September 29th from 2:00 pm until 4 pm and Sunday, September 30th from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm.The show is open to the public, admission is free and donations are welcome. The sale of Dahlias will take place on Sunday, September 30, at 3:00 pm.

Entries will be accepted on Friday, September 28, from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm and Saturday, September 29, from 7:00 am until 11:00 am. Those interested in entering their homegrown dahlias can find the complete program schedule and guidelines on the Greenwich Botanical Center’s website (www.greenwichbotanicalcenter.org). Novices are encouraged to participate and volunteers will be on hand to help stage your blooms.

"As always, this promises the visitor a fabulous sea of exceptional blooms in an array of stunning colors and varieties exhibited by growers from throughout the region - truly a sight to behold! All dahlias will be sold on the final day of the show, giving the public a rare opportunity to purchase many prize-winning blooms," said Barbara Collier, Co-Chair of this year’s Show with Lisa Moser, Greenwich Botanical Center’s Board Treasurer.
