Greenwich Campership Program In Need Of Funds
The Campership program allows children to have a memorable and fun-filled experience at local summer day camps and sleep-away camps in CT.

GREENWICH, CT ? The Greenwich Campership Program is well underway and the first session of camps are up and running.
The Campership program awards scholarships to children ages 5-14 from low income Greenwich families. This is an opportunity for children to have a memorable and fun-filled experience at local summer day camps and sleep-away camps in Connecticut.

Thanks to generous donations, there are 116 children registered and attending camp this summer and there are 34 children that are on the waiting list that are currently not funded.
This program is sponsored by the Greenwich Department of Human Services, and the Greenwich Salvation Army also provides a generous allocation. Camp fees are paid by community donations.

"We are extremely grateful for the donations received to date and additional contributions will help provide a scholarship to the children who are waiting to be offered a 2022 camp session," the Greenwich Department of Human Services said in a news release.
If interested in sponsoring a child, camp scholarship amounts are as follows:
- Sponsor a camper for two weeks: $400
- Sponsor a camper for three weeks: $525

- Send a check made payable to The Greenwich Department of Human Services Fund, Inc. and sent to the Dept. of Human Services, Town Hall, 101 Field Point Road, Greenwich, CT 06830.
