Stolen Vehicle Case Leads To Police Search In Greenwich: UPDATE
Officers searched in the North Mianus area Monday.
GREENWICH, CT — Greenwich police officers fanned out in the North Mianus area near Stamford Monday afternoon in search of a suspect from a stolen vehicle case, authorities announced on the department's Twitter page.
Details of the incident were not immediately available, but police said that the search concentrated on an undisclosed "small area," and on a suspect who was on foot.
By 1:30 p.m., the search was concluded, but police did not indicate whether the suspect had been found. The department's Detective Division took over the investigation at that time, police said.

The Board of Education, which has a school in the vicinity, was notified of the incident, but police said at the time that "the scene is stable."
