Greenwich Coronavirus Survivor To Run 5K On One-Year Anniversary

A year after being admitted to Greenwich Hospital with the coronavirus, a town resident will mark the anniversary by running a 5K.

GREENWICH, CT — Last April, Greenwich resident Gabriel Cid tested positive for the coronavirus and was admitted to Greenwich Hospital for 37 days, 30 of which were spent in the facility's intensive care unit.

He even spent three weeks on a mechanical ventilator before ultimately being discharged from the hospital in May. (To sign up for Greenwich breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
