Greenwich Man Charged In Restaurant Burglary: PD

A Greenwich man accused of burglarizing a restaurant in town was recently arrested, according to police.

GREENWICH, CT — A man accused of burglarizing a Greenwich Avenue restaurant in September was arrested this week, according to police. Kevin Joyce, 49, of Greenwich, turned himself in at police headquarters on an active warrant Tuesday morning, police said.

The burglary occurred on Sept. 26, and the accused was identified as a suspect following an investigation, police said.

Lt. John Slusarz said the accused broke into the restaurant around 2 a.m., and the total value of the items taken was about $60.

The accused was charged with second-degree burglary, sixth-degree larceny and second-degree criminal mischief.
